Bábolna Gazdanapok is a renowned agricultural exhibition held annually in Bábolna, Hungary. This event serves as a central hub for farmers, agribusinesses, and industry experts to gather, network, and explore the latest developments in the agricultural sector.
Between the autumn of 2023 and the summer of 2024, agriculture in Hungary faced a difficult and challenging period. The resulting market conditions are also causing difficulties for farmers, who must adapt quickly.
Digitalisation is a tool for this, as digital solutions help to make the best use of scarce but available resources.
Sys-Control and Campden BRI Hungary gave a presentation on this topic and on the digitalisation of the agri-food industry in general in the framework of our EIT Food project SMAF – Smart Agricultural Farming.
In our presentation, we tried to show the impact of digital data collection and processing through different innovative technologies, with a focus on weed management and environmental adaptation, by exploring the possibilities of optimising the cost structure. This event was a great opportunity to showcase the FitoWise solution.
